Netherworld
This is an alien landscape of the sort I sometimes drew in high school. It took less time and contains less detail than its early incarnations, which is probably a positive sign. For some reason this sketch attracted a lot of praise on its completion. It even inspired a number of deep, but spurious interpretations, especially from viewers who were involved in the occult. Many of them were surprised that I was (and am) a rationalist and had no time for their ideas.
